The effects of nephrectomy upon aldosterone secretion,' "• the demonstration of aldosterone-stimulating activity and pressor activity in the same ammonium sulfate fraction of kidney extracts, the correlation of aldosterone production with renal renin content '"'• ° and with juxtaglomerular granulation,' ''• and the aldosterone-stimulating properties of renin and angiotensin H 5> 0> °" all offer strong indirect evidence for the control of aldosterone secretion by the renin-angiotensin system.
